About The Inn
Welcome to Riverbend Inn, a romantic bed and breakfast in New Hampshire, combining the hospitality and charm of a country inn with the first class amenities and attention to detail of a small boutique hotel. Interiors are luxurious and elegant without being fussy. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Guest comfort and enjoyment is our number one goal.
We’ve won awards for our interior design and decor. Ten individually appointed guest rooms combine antiques and original art with modern conveniences. Comfy overstuffed sofas and chairs and plush linens on carved mahogany beds blend seamlessly with bedside reading lights and high speed wireless service.
This New Hampshire bed and breakfast’s name comes from its unique location along the pristine Chocorua River which meanders through 15 acres of gardens, meadows, and fragrant pine forest. Scattered about the grounds you’ll find hammocks and Adirondack chairs for relaxation and contemplation. Wander down to the river, cross over the log bridge and you’ll find a private island. In the evening, enjoy a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the river.
Innkeepers Jerry Weiss and Craig Cox relocated from Los Angeles in 2002 to realize a decades-long dream of innkeeping. Our greatest satisfaction comes when others appreciate our efforts. As Yankee Magazine said:
“Craig and Jerry may have left Southern California behind, but they’ve created a Hollywood-perfect New England inn, elegantly mixing art and antiques without sacrificing comfort.”
There are many reasons to visit Riverbend Inn: as a base to explore New England, to climb a nearby mountain, to pamper someone you love, to escape the city, to explore quaint villages, to celebrate a special occasion, to restore body and soul. In winter, ski, snowshoe or shop. Explore waterfalls in spring. Canoe, hike or play golf in summer. In autumn, discover spectacular foliage and local harvest festivals. We will make sure that you enjoy your stay at one of the most relaxing and luxurious bed and breakfast at the edge of the White Mountains, New Hampshire!
