Room 3 is a profoundly romantic space, cocooning guests
with Chinese red walls and ceiling trimmed in gold.
Black velvet drapes frame windows with views to the
forest from this second floor room. A king mansion bed
featuring red matelassé coverlet and shams is paired
with matching tansu chests topped with Chinese tea
canister lamps acquired from the Marriott estate on Lake
Winnipesaukee. In one corner beneath a gold silk hanging
lamp is a loveseat draped with a Chinese throw. The
large private bath is decorated in white, red, and gold.
Daily rate, depending on season:
$180 to $210.
